-हमारे बारे में--

पत्रकारिता के मानदंडों के बीच आज के वक्त में स्वयं के बारे में लिखना मुश्किल है। चार दशक से अधिक समय की पत्रकारिता में मैंने कलम की ताकत भी देखी और शिक्षा की भी। मीडिया सेक्टर में वर्ष 1984 में मैंने भोपाल, मध्यप्रदेश के हिन्दी दैनिक., दैनिक भास्कर और स्वदेश समूूह से पत्रकारिता की शुरूआत की। बाद में प्रेस ट्रस्ट आफॅ इंडिया की हिंदी संवाद एजेंसी भाषा, तत्पश्चात नई दिल्ली स्थित हिन्दुस्तान टाइम्स ग्रुप के दैनिक हिंदुस्तान-लखनउ एवं वाराणसी संस्करणों में प्रमुख पदों पर रहा। तत्पश्चात दैनिक जागरण समूूह के नयी दिल्ली-नोएडा तथा पंजाब संस्करण में जिम्मेदार पदों पर मीडिया एवं प्रबंधन पद की जिम्मेदारी निभाई।

इन चार दशकों के अधिक समय में विभिन्न राज्यों की विधानसभाओं की रिर्पोटिंग की तो वहीं संसदीय रिर्पोटिंग भी करता रहा। मेरा मानना है कि संसद के दोनों सदनों के प्रतिनिधियों की खबरों को महत्ता मिलनी चाहिये। आज भी वास्तविकता यह है कि संसद में मौजूद दोनों सदनों के जनप्रतिनिधियों में अधिकांश ऐसे हैं जो लोकसभा और राज्यसभा में प्रश्न करते हैं लेकिन उनके नाम और प्रश्न जनता तक मीडिया के माध्यम से नहीं पहुंच पाते हैं। सकारात्मक और राष्ट्रीय विषयों के प्रश्नों और उत्तरों की बजाए उन प्रश्नों को मीडिया में प्रमुखता मिलती है जो सनसनी से जुड़े होते हैं।

इस दौरान महसूस हुआ कि संसद से जुड़े न्यूज पोर्टल का संचालन आरंभ करना चाहिये और इस कार्य में देश की एक महिला लोकसभा अध्यक्ष की प्रेरणा रहीं जो स्वयं सांसदों की खबरों और गतिविधियों के प्रकाशन को लेकर चिंतित रहती थीं। वर्ष 2013 में संभवतः और जहां तक मेरी जानकारी है कोई ऐसा न्यूज पोर्टल नहीं था जहां उच्च सदन से लेकर निम्न सदन अर्थात राज्यसभा तथा लोकसभा सम्बंधी खबरों का एक ही जगह समावेश हो सके। इसी वर्ष जनसंसद न्यूज.कॉम पोर्टल की शुरूआत हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में आरम्भ की। चूंकि संसदीय खबरें कहीं ना कहीं से देश के विभिन्न मंत्रालयों से सम्बंधित होती हैं अथवा अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर उनका महत्व होता है। इस भावना के साथ खबरों के अलावा साक्षात्कार और आर्टिकल का विस्तार किया गया।

It is difficult to write about oneself in today's times amid the standards of journalism. In my four decades of journalism, I have seen the power of the pen as well as education. In the media sector, I started my journalism career in the year 1984 with Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar and Swadesh Group from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Later I performed my duties in important positions in Bhasha-Press Trust of India, and subsequently in Dainik Hindustan - Lucknow and Varanasi editions of the New Delhi-based Hindustan Times Group. I was also Incharge of Media and Management on key positions in New Delhi-Noida and Punjab editions of Dainik Jagran Group for many years.

During these four decades, I have reported on the assemblies of various states and have also done parliamentary reporting. I believe that the news of the representatives of both the houses of the Parliament should be given importance. Even today the reality is that among the public representatives in both the houses of Parliament, most of them ask questions in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, but their names and questions do not reach the public through the media. Instead of questions and answers on positive and national issues, those questions which are related to sensationalism get prominence in the media.

During this period, it was felt that a news portal related to Parliament should be started and the inspiration for this work was a woman Speaker of the Lok Sabha. In the year 2013, probably and as far as I know, there was no such news portal where news related to the Upper House to the Lower House i.e. Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha could be included in one place. In the same year, news portal with the name of Jansansadnews.com was launched in Hindi and English by me. Since parliamentary news is somehow related to various ministries of the country or has international importance, interviews and articles were expanded in addition to news.
