Lok Sabha Polls: Campaigning for 4th phase ends
NEW DELHI. Campaigning for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Polls ends, voting in 72 constituencies across nine States on Monday. With this phase, the election will begin in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, and end in Maharashtra and Odisha. The counting of votes will take place on May 23.

Stage is set for the fourth phase of Lok Sabha Polls to be held on Monday. Seventy-two constituencies, spread over nine states, will go to polls in this phase. Over 12 crore 79 lakh voters to decide fate of 961 candidates in this phase.

In the fourth phase, voting will take place for 17 Parliamentary seats in Maharashtra; 13 each in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh; 8 in West Bengal; 6 each in Madhya Pradesh and Odisha; five in Bihar; and three in Jharkhand. Kulgam district of Anantnag constituency in Jammu and Kashmir will also go to polls in this phase.

Anantnag Parliamentary Constituency is the only such parliamentary consituency in the country, where polling is divided in three phases, Phase III, Phase IV & Phase V.(UPDATED ON APRIL 27TH, 2019)
