BJP hits back at oppn for asking for proof of strike against JeM terror camps

NEW DELHI. Government and BJP have slammed the opposition for continuing to politicise the India's pre-emptive strike against terror camps across the border. Meanwhile, Indian forces continue to give befitting response to terror as two Hijbul Mujahideen terrorists were eliminated in Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistani troops on Tuesday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control by targeting forward posts and villages in Rajouri district. Indian forces are giving them a befitting reply.

On 26th Feb..IAF had conducted air strikes against terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed at Balakot in the early hours..

The attack against the menace of terror saw the country united but now some opposition parties have begun asking for proof from the forces undermining the strength and valour of our brave forces.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has hit out at the opposition on the issue.

BJP has hit back at the opposition saying such remarks and unwanted doubts will only demoralise the forces..

The union minister said that such comments by Cong leaders grab headlines on Pakistan Radio and TV.

Ravi Shankar Prasad attributed some news reports and said terror targets were hit. He added that Pakistan is facing further isolation because of India's foreign policy under the leadership of PM Modi.

He said no other country in the world has questioned or asked for proof from the air force.

Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said the air strikes in Balakot were not military action as there was no damage to civilians.

She also said Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale had not given any casualty figure in the airstrike and he had only given a statement, which was the government's position.(UPDATED ON MARCH 5TH, 2019)
