PM Modi speaks to CM Pinarayi Vijayan over situation arising due to floods in Kerala

NEW DELHI. Prime Minister Narendar Modi has spoken to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and discussed the situation arising due to floods in various parts of the state.
Prime Miniser offered all possible assistance to those affected. Prime Miniser said that we stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Kerala in the wake of this calamity.
22 dead after heavy rains lash Kerala
At least 22 people have died in Kerala due to heavy rains and landslides. According to Kerala State Emergency Operations Centre, 22 people have lost their lives due to the heavy rains and landslides . Among the total deaths, 11 people died in Idukki district, five in Malappuram district, three in Wayanad, two in Kannur and one in Kozhikode.
